TOURIST ATTRACTIONS

The top five tourist attractions are La Piscine Naturelle, The Heart of Voh, Parc Provincial de la Rivière Bleue, Pont de Mouli, and Le Marché.

"La Piscine Naturelle is A 20-minute signposted walk from the carpark at the end of the road, this pool of exquisite turquoise water is protected from the sea by a narrow waterway and is mainly used for water sports."

The Heart of Voh is "a mangrove swamp which has developed some unusual natural designs. The most intriguing is a perfect heart shape, La Cœur de Voh (The Heart of Voh)" and here is a picture:

Parc Provincial de la Rivière Bleue is a protected reserve for many bird species. "The landscape is a mixture of the far south’s typical scrub vegetation and dense rainforest, and includes gigantic kaori trees."

Pont de Mouli is a road bridge but "at Pont de Mouli, Ouvéa’s tip, Mouli island, is cut off by a wide channel that flows out of Baie de Lékiny into the lagoon. From the bridge, the display of dazzling white sand and shades of turquoise is occasionally broken by outlines of sharks, rays, turtles and fish swimming beneath you."

Le Marche is a colourful multi-hexagonal-shaped market that is beside the marina at Port Moselle where fisherman and trucks deliver various payloads. It is also where bread and cakes are made and delights like terrines and olives. There is also a central cafe where live music players keep customers entertained.
