CLIMATE AND WHAT TO PACK

New Caledonia has a tropical climate which is generally pleasant throughout the year. "Highs average between 73 and 86°F (23–30°C), with the coolest temperatures in July and August and the warmest in December and January. Rainfall provides the greatest weather variation. In the wet season (November–April), humidity can be high, and it is typical for downpours to last a day or more. During the dry season (May–October), rainfall is largely limited to short, heavy bursts."

If you decide to go, you should pack shorts and a t-shirt and generally warm-weather clothes.
